Good morning! Today I’m sponsoring the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge (CFC36)! This is a very fun clean and simple challenge that I always enjoy participating in. The theme today is a "Penguin" challenge to use only black and white on your card and nothing else; not even a spec or a hint of color. When I create my cards, I always make sure now that it’s fully done with the inside and envelope complete rather than just the card front. Since I did a lot of embossing on my card, I also decided to heat emboss my envelope and while doing so, made a really cool blunder that’s awesome, so watch for a video tutorial on that soon. Talk about turning what would be considered a potential disaster and making it cool — this is it and you’ll love it!
I didn’t do very much to this card but some stamping, punching, heat embossing and used some glimmer mist, which I’m so hooked on and heat embossing lately too. I added additional bling by using black glitter embossing powder that fit within the parameters of the challenge and my shimmer mist as it’s a clear color.
The card is very masculine nature, but I was able to fem it up a tad by adding the shimmer, glimmer, and black lace ribbon. I hope that you like it and thank you so much for stopping by today to visit me! God bless you.
