Good morning. Today's challenge at Stampin' Up! Only Challenges (SUOC39) is to make a birthday card. Very fun and very easy. I used the Sweet Shop Product Suite for my card and kept it simple using In Colors of Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade. My ribbon is from Everyday Enchantment from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, so I did a little mixing and matching. This is a very clean and simple card, the only kind to make anymore and I hope that you enjoy it.

Here is my card that I'd like to share with you.

Good morning and thank you for visiting me today. Today's Stampin' Up! Only Challenge is Valentine's Day Colors x2. I chose Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride. I do wish I had cut out Cupid because it really would have added extra dimension to the card, so to "substitute" for that, I put the image and sentiment panel on Stampin' Dimensionals. I think that if a spray or two less of the Blushing Bride Smooch Spritz would have sufficed just fine, yet concentrated more over the masking so that the Twitterpatter Designer Series Paper would have shown through more would have balanced the card out a bit more. Overall, this was a very simple card to do and I recycled the hearts that I used to mask for the inside of the card!

1. Cut Cherry Cobbler card stock to A2 size so that the crease is at the top.
2. Cut Whisper white card stock to 5-5/16 x 4-1/16.
3. Cut a piece of Twitterpatter Designer Series Paper to 5-3/16 x 3-15/16.
4. Adhere designer paper to the Whisper White card stock.
5. Punch 2 large hearts with the Large Heart punch using Whisper White card stock.
6. Layer the hearts and then adhere to the left of the Designer Series Paper with removable adhesive.
7. Lightly mist the panel with Blushing Bride Smooch Spritz and remove the hearts and set aside.
8. Stamp the cupid image inside of the hearts with Cherry Cobbler ink, sprinkle clear embossing powder over the image, shake off excess and heat emboss.
9. Stamp sentiment at the upper right corner with Basic Black ink, sprinkle clear embossing powder over the sentiment, shake off excess and heat emboss.
10. Tie a length of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine around the panel under the sentiment and tie into a bow at the left side.
11. Punch out 3 small hearts with the Small Heart punch using textured Cherry Cobbler card stock.
12. Adhere the 3 hearts under the Baker’s Twine with Mini Glue dots.
13. Adhere the image and sentiment panel to the Cherry Cobbler card stock base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
14. For the inside of the card, cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 5-1/4 x 4 and adhere to the Cherry Cobbler card base.
15. Using the masking hearts from the front of the card, adhere 1 heart to the left side of the card and the other arranged as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
16. Stamp the inside sentiments using Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler ink, sprinkle clear embossing powder over the sentiments, shake off excess and heat emboss.

Use a Stamp-a-ma-jig for accurate placement of your image and sentiments.

Here’s a fun and interactive birthday card that I made today than can really be used for any occasion simply by switching out the sentiment. I’ve been mixing a lot of stamp sets and designer series paper lately to come up with new looks and I’m quite pleased how this card turned out. The ribbon can be untied and a sentiment panel will open to the left. I made the card by starting with the A2 base size at 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 but then cut the front panel down to about 2 inches from the bottom. It’s almost a card front except for the inside sentiment panel.  Now onto the card that I made for you. I also used Kindness Matters for my sentiment. Did you know that our Classic Ink Pads emboss beautifully simply by sprinkling clear embossing powder over them? It really brings out the color. With heat embossing, you also get that raised texture. I only heat embossed my sentiment on this card and left my images inked only. I first colored 3 small Basic Jewel Pearls using a Stampin’ Write Pool Party marker, heat set them real fast and then placed them in the center of the flower of my postage image. I punched each image out using the Postage Stamp Punch. There’s a lot of dimension to this card with the center panel in Stampin’ Dimensionals, as well as the 3 stamped images. Even though this is a very clean and simple card, small things like heat embossing and using dimension makes it a WOW card.

Hi everybody and welcome to another Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge (SUOC37)! Today’s challenge is to use your favorite product(s) in the brand new Occasions Mini Catalog or just your favorite Stampin’ Up! product in general. I like everything in the new catalog and I’ve used it all except for the Sweet Shop Product Suite, so I thought that I’d give that a try today. I used a sticker for my image and stamped my sentiment onto a piece of Calypso Coral card stock and snipped a "v" into each end. I’m not sure about the Calypso Coral Baker’s Twine that I tied around the sentiment panel, but it’s just going to have to do. I also punched the right edge of my designer paper using the Heart Pinking Shears punch. I broke out the Framelits for the first time ever too and they are SO EASY to use. Love them! Good morning! Today I’m sponsoring the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge (CFC36)! This is a very fun clean and simple challenge that I always enjoy participating in. The theme today is a "Penguin" challenge to use only black and white on your card and nothing else; not even a spec or a hint of color. When I create my cards, I always make sure now that it’s fully done with the inside and envelope complete rather than just the card front. Since I did a lot of embossing on my card, I also decided to heat emboss my envelope and while doing so, made a really cool blunder that’s awesome, so watch for a video tutorial on that soon. Talk about turning what would be considered a potential disaster and making it cool — this is it and you’ll love it!

I didn’t do very much to this card but some stamping, punching, heat embossing and used some glimmer mist, which I’m so hooked on and heat embossing lately too. I added additional bling by using black glitter embossing powder that fit within the parameters of the challenge and my shimmer mist as it’s a clear color.

The card is very masculine nature, but I was able to fem it up a tad by adding the shimmer, glimmer, and black lace ribbon. I hope that you like it and thank you so much for stopping by today to visit me! God bless you.

Good morning. I made this card for the Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper 259 (FS259) challenge this morning where I chose Luv Flowers (Kim Hahn) as our Featured Stamper. Kim has a beautiful gallery filled with flowers! I ultimately ended up choosing her Sunflower Grateful card and made my Scripty Sunflower card.

I did some ink distressing on my card and used the En Francais background stamp inked with Crumb Cake for my background. I then directly colored onto the Sunflower background stamp with markers and stamped onto and over the script. I do wish I had taken an Aqua Painter to blend the More Mustard ink with the Daffodil Delight for a better transition – but, lesson learned. As I only stamped half of the sunflower on the outside, I took the remainder of the stamp that was inked up and stamped that onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock for the inside of my card.

Hi everybody and welcome to my new Stampin’ Up! Blog! I’m so excited that I can now share my Stampin’ Up! only projects with you here and everything Stampin’ Up! is on this blog as far as catalogs and everything you need to book your workshop, attend a class, request a catalog, and keep up in general on my events and other pertinent information.

I am so thrilled to be a part of Stampin’ Up! again. I had rejoined because I got burnt out on the card publishing arena. It all hit me like a ton of bricks when a call for a magazine came out on the first day the kids were home for Christmas break and it ended the day they went back to school. I would have taken about 1/3 of their break making projects for the magazine getting 2-3 accepted, maybe, and that time would have been wasted if none of them were accepted. I thought to myself that I need to start making life a lot more simple and get back to my roots. In 2 hours, I can hold a $500 workshop and make 10x the amount of money, have friends over,  socialize, and have fun, so it was a very easy decision for me. In the less than one month I’ve been back with Stampin’ Up!, I’ve already been promoted to a Senior Associate. The first time around with Stampin’ Up!, I had been with them for a year and was a Senior Supervisor with downlines that had signed up with me all over the United States. Don’t think that because you won’t be able to attend my monthly downline meetings that I can’t be a wonderful mentor to you. When my downline attend my meetings, my out of area downline always get a package of our meeting minutes, a PDF of swaps and projects, recognition and so much more. I spoil my hostesses and downline! I’d love to have you on my team.
